The Swift Current Research and Development Centre is one of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's (AAFC) network of 20 research centres. Located at Swift Current, in the southwest corner of Saskatchewan, the centre conducts research in wheat and durum breeding, forage breeding, cattle nutrition, agronomy in conventional and organic cropping systems, and the development of best management practices for sustainable agriculture.
