An Open Science institution in which basic scientists, clinicians & trainees work across disciplines to discover new treatments for neurological disorders. The Clinical Research Unit conducts trials sponsored by pharma companies & granting agencies. Trials are approved by Health Canada or the FDA & have passed a rigorous review by the Research Ethics Board of the McGill IRB. The Early Drug Discovery Unit collaborates with academic & industry partners to develop Open Science tools & technologies that use iPSCs.
