The mission of the Infectious Disease Research Center of Laval University (IDRC) is to better understand host-pathogen interactions in order to develop innovative approaches to diagnose, prevent, & treat infectious diseases. The IDRC research program goes from the study of the genoma to clinical phase IV international trials with new drugs, including those with HIV-infected patients. We also offer the CIHR formation program on antimicrobial resistance.
