A non-profit research and development organization, CCFI provides comprehensive aquaculture, harvesting, processing, equipment development and marine biotechnology R&D. It also disseminates new information and transfers appropriate innovative technologies to the Canadian industry. Receives funding from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and is 100% owned by Memorial University. Has dozens of collaborative partners in research & development.
