The BRI supports research-based education at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The vision of the BRI is to develop biorefining & bioenergy processes utilizing forest biomass and other bioresources. Creating valuable products from renewable biomass, will reduce our dependence upon fossil fuels, while at the same time create new businesses and jobs. Along with training of grad students, the institute envisages collaborative networks with industry, partner universities and research institutions.
