LightIntegra strives to minimize platelet refractoriness. To this end, we created ThromboLUX, a rapid in vitro test that provides size distribution information for microparticles in blood products. As a routine test for platelet concentrates, ThromboLUX may identify which platelet units would be best suited for prophylaxis and which units are better suited for therapeutic use.
