The Canadian Association of Veterinary Cannabinoid Medicine, was founded by a group of veterinary professionals. Driven by a motivation to improve understanding of cannabis-based therapies for animals, and to improve their clients' ability to access these therapies. Advocating for veterinary access to cannabis is an important part of CAVCM's mission, and so they work closely with veterinary associations and engage Health Canada as new legislation is proposed.
